Grandpa's Teeth

This story is about the mysterious disappearance of Grandpa's teeth, which were handmade by the finest Swiss craftsmen. He enlists the help of the local Police Officer Rate to help find his teeth and together they round up the usual suspects. He even goes on the famous TV show "Unsolved Crimes." But the crime remains unsolved.

This book would be great to use in an English lesson based around writing a mystery narrative. By reading this book to the students first it will enable them to start thinking of times in their life when they have misplaced something and just assumed that it has been stolen by a sibling or friend. Using this book as an example the students could put their own examples into narrative form and create a different ending to it.
