What really happened to little red riding hood: The Wolf's Story

What really happened  to little red riding hood: The Wolf's Story
Toby Forward & Izhar Cohen

This children's story book is a look at the story of Little Red Riding Hood from the perspective of the wolf. In this story the wolf explains and tries to make the reader believe that he was in fact framed and not responsible for the Grandmothers death. The wolf explains that he only got mad when Little Red tried to offer him toffees which he knew would hurt his teeth and that he didn't hurt grandmother she had simply bumped her head and was unconscious in the closet the entire time. A funny take on a classic fairy tale that students will thoroughly enjoy.

This particular book could be used to encourage students to write another story or passage of a book from a different characters perspective in order to gain a greater understanding of the book and/or characters.
