The Way I Feel

The Way I Feel is a cute story based on
feelings and emotions. The illustrator has done a fantastic job capturing the
emotions. Cain also uses rhymes to show the many different emotions and to capture the attention of younger readers.
The picture book can be used in a reception
class in order to teach them about emotions, to teach them that it’s good to
express their feelings and that they are normal. Students can also brainstorm
all the different emotions that they may feel. The book can also be used to
teach students in grades one and two about adjectives.
